The shower faucet in the bathroom is the switch that controls the amount of water and temperature of the shower. Choosing a good shower faucet is the beginning of a beautiful shower. Shower faucets are made of many materials, such as stainless steel, copper, etc.; according to the different installation methods, they can be divided into wall-mounted shower faucets and wall-mounted shower faucets. Let's learn about the replacement of the shower faucet valve core.
Shower faucet valve core replacement
1. Lift off the decorative cap of the handle;
2. Loosen the screw and remove the handle (be careful that the screw is unscrewed and lost, and the handle can be removed in about one or two turns);
3. Twist off the decorative cover (it takes some effort); remove the gland nut; remove the valve core;
4. The water valve can be slightly opened, and the valve body can be flushed with water to remove impurities;

5. Replace the new valve core (positioning must be accurate), and the installation surface must be clean and free of debris;
6. Install the gland nut with moderate tightness (looseness will cause water leakage, and tightness will make it inconvenient to disassemble next time); turn the valve core adjustment rod clockwise until it stops (hot water position);
7. Install the handle according to the hot water outlet position; tighten the screws and press the decorative cap.
